Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) has established a Business Incubator to give boost to the new breed of young entrepreneurs and to create conducive ecosystem for encouraging entrepreneurship innovation and growth of the Start-ups in Jammu & Kashmir. The incubator will support development of a new/ innovative idea or concept into a marketable product/ service and the institute will provide common infrastructure and services such as technology development assistance, networking and mentoring, funding access, training and development, business support ser¬vices (entrepreneurship development, marketing, finance and ac¬counting, research, legal, regulatory), pre-incubation services among others to Startup businesses. To begin with the incubation process, JKEDI is inviting applications from individuals with any unique business idea to come forward and be a part of the larger mission of shared prosperity. Individuals who are interested to apply for the incubation process may get chance to access a wide range of services from Business Planning, Company Formation, Legal and IPR Assistance, Managerial Support along with Networking, Mentoring, Infrastructural Support and Funding. Being a front runner in creating an ecosystem for encouraging entrepreneurship, the institute shall also act as Startup Hub for establishing Incubators and shall create a platform for existing as well as aspiring en¬trepreneurs to get connected with various promoters of Startup eco¬system such as business incubators, accelerators, VC firms, angels, mentors, etc. Other Institutions are encouraged to apply for establishing Incubator Centers in their respective institutions and promote innovation and entrepreneurship through Startups.
